Hi all,

My name is Cj Ravenscroft, owner/operator of Corkscrew Photography, and the creative eye behind this site and all that it contains.

I'm 25, and have lived in southern Idaho nearly all my life. Outside of photography I am very outdoor oriented, although I have a large "geeky" side as well.

My interest in Photography really kicked off about two years ago. It all started when I sent out some Snowboard snapshots to friends in an e-mail. One of the pictures really caught the attention of a Photographer friend of mine, and I decided then and there that I could do much better than snapshots.

Since then my desire to out perform those "snapshots" has changed to something else entirely. Now I seek to advance my understanding and control of light itself.

Anymore I find myself shooting anything and everything, and I'm looking to do more with it. I've shot several concerts and associated venues, and even shot my first wedding in early August 2007. I am very eager for more opportunites such as these.
